How to Become a Speaker for BHRA

    Blackhawk Human Resource Association is seeking presenters. We seek to provide programming serving the HR Professional, Advancing the HR Profession, or Growing the Organization. It is also a priority to ensure our programming qualifies for HRCI recertification credits. Please be sure to share if your topic has already received HR Certification Institute (HRCI) approval for General or Strategic Management credits.

    Prior to applying, please have the following information available:
    • Session Title
    • HR Audience to which the session is targeted
    • Session description (150-350 words)
    • HRCI Credit information (if applicable)
    • Three learning objectives (assists us in obtaining HRCI recertification credits for our attendees)
    • Speaker biography and photograph (*.jpg, *.gif, *.jpeg, *.bmp)
    • Sample outline/draft of content, job aids, PowerPoints and other materials you will share with attendees.

    Indicate the appropriate level of content for your program based on the following (in alignment with HR Certificaiton Institue [HRCI] certification designations of PHR and SPHR): General Session is geared towards tools to further enhance the praticipants' overall body of HR knowledge in areas such as: workforce planning and employment, human resource development, total rewards, employee & labor relations, and risk managment Strategic Business Management Session focuses on developing, contributing to and supporting the organization's mission, vision, values, strategic goals and objectives; formulating policies; guiding and leading the change process; and evaluating HR's contributions to organizational effectiveness.
